Our History

1. 1996

   Roots in process control

   The story begins in Guayana, Venezuela's heavy-industry heartland. Enrique Rojas joins Automatización de Procesos Industriales C.A. (API C.A.) — the firm of Guillermo Peavey, a respected name in regional automation — and helps build a multidisciplinary team serving Fisher™ Controls equipment as a sub-representative in Venezuela.

2. 2003

   ACD America is founded

   Enrique Rojas and Rosa María Bello found ACD America in Miami, Florida — to source genuine Fisher™ parts internationally while keeping the dependable local support process plants rely on.

3. 2005

   ITS de Venezuela is born

   API C.A. and ACD co-found ITS de Venezuela to give process plants the field service, metrology and valve remanufacturing they needed — the on-the-ground half of the promise.

4. 2009

   One group, one owner

   ACD America Corp acquires API C.A.'s stake and becomes the sole owner of ITS de Venezuela, uniting genuine parts, application engineering and field service under one group.

5. 2011

   Datian ARC for the Americas

   Datian Valve appoints ACD its representative for the Americas, adding automatic recirculation (ARC) pump protection — a hard-to-source line — to the offering.

6. 2018

   Home in Orlando, Florida

   ACD America relocates its headquarters from Miami to Orlando, Florida — where it operates today, shipping genuine parts across the Americas and beyond.

7. 2026

   The Okaway alliance

   Okaway forms a strategic alliance with ACD and ITS de Venezuela for the Venezuelan and Chilean markets, broadening the control-valve line the group can supply and support.

8. The story continues…

   And we're still writing it — with the same conviction we started with: genuine parts, honest engineering and the support that keeps plants running.
