ASCO™ Dust Collector Valves

A pulse valve is judged by what happens in a few milliseconds: how fast it opens, how much air it dumps, and how completely it closes again. Get that wrong and you pay for it twice — in compressed air and in filter life.

Reverse-jet cleaning works by shock: a very short, very high blast of compressed air snaps the filter bag and releases the dust cake. The valve is the entire mechanism of that shock, so the specification that matters is not flow at steady state but peak pressure delivered in the first milliseconds. A slow valve wastes air on a pulse that never develops enough force, and the cake stays put.

That is why the line is built in layers. The 353 is the pulse valve itself, from 3/4" to 3", with integral or remote pilot and a Quick Mount Clamp that removes thread cutting from the install. The 110 pilot box and the 257 command it remotely, keeping the electricals off the collector and, with built-in heaters, working at −40 °C. And the 355B and 357 tank systems take it further: the valves live immersed inside the header tank, which shortens the air path and puts up to 18 valves on one manifold.
