Self-operated pressure control
A pressure regulator is a self-operated final-control device: it holds a set pressure on its own, with no external signal or power. Every regulator works through three essential elements — a restricting element (plug and orifice), a measuring element (the diaphragm that senses the pressure) and a loading element (the spring or pilot that sets the target). The sensed pressure works against the loading element, and the regulator opens or closes to hold the setpoint as flow and inlet pressure change.
Direct-operated regulators are simple and fast; pilot-operated regulators add accuracy and capacity for demanding service. A pressure-reducing regulator controls the downstream pressure; a backpressure / relief regulator controls the upstream pressure and protects against overpressure — and slam-shut devices add a fast safety cutoff.

Pressure reducing Pressure Reducing Regulators
Hold a precise reduced (downstream) pressure as flow and inlet pressure change — for gas, liquid and air service (e.g. Fisher™ 627).

Backpressure · Relief Back Pressure Regulators
Control upstream pressure and limit pressure buildup, and provide relief, in liquid, gas, air and steam service (e.g. Fisher™ MR98).

Overpressure protection Slam Shut Devices
Manual or automatic slam-shut and overpressure-protection devices that rapidly cut gas flow on an over- or under-pressure event (e.g. Fisher™ EZH).

Steam Steam Pressure Regulators
Steam pressure-reducing regulators for reliable, efficient pressure control across steam distribution systems (e.g. Fisher™ 92B).

A model number isn't enough
Picking the right regulator comes down to a handful of things. Give us as many as you can and our application engineers do the rest — narrowing by setpoint, checking the inlet rating and confirming the regulator will open and hold under your conditions.
We'll also pick the right style: direct-operated for simple, fast control, or pilot-operated for higher accuracy and capacity.

Regulators for the services you run
Whatever the fluid, tell us the duty and we'll match a Fisher™ regulator to it.
Genuine OEM
Genuine Fisher™ regulator spare parts
A regulator drifts off setpoint when its soft parts wear — a hardened diaphragm, a tired spring, a worn seat. We supply genuine OEM diaphragms, springs, seat rings, discs, restrictors, O-rings and pilot parts so your regulators hold pressure and protect the system. A will-fit diaphragm or spring can quietly shift the setpoint and the relief behavior; genuine parts protect them.
Send us a regulator serial number, model or your inlet/outlet conditions and our team will identify and quote the right Fisher™ regulator or parts.
