What it is
Buoyancy, turned into control
A level controller measures and controls liquid level — and often liquid-interface level or density — most commonly by sensing the buoyant force on a displacer, or the position of a float. That measurement becomes a control output that throttles a valve, switches a pump, or feeds the control system.
